'It's not about smiling for the camera - it's about smiling because you've found the love of your life.'
There's no quote more fitting to describe Jackie. Her smile is one of those that is just so genuine and contagious that it spreads to everyone around her. From start to finish, this smile never left her face. From wedding crashers and cookie thieves (don't come at us high schoolers; we will chase you all day to protect our clients and our weddings) to the last song, these two had the absolute best day. Jackie and Cody exchanged vows on the croquet lawn at Toftrees on one of the clearest July days we've ever seen. There wasn't a single cloud in sight, fitting as blue was one of the bride's colors. When designing their reception space, the couple asked us for one thing: "Don't give us the standard boring wedding linens," and we were happy to oblige! Our favorite Cambridge Sky linen perfectly fit the couple's color palette and desire for a unique patterned linen. Pair that with the softest hues of sage and gold, and we were instantly in love. The group came to party, and that they did, filling the dancefloor until the very last song. Congratulations Jackie + Cody! Thank you to the amazing vendor team that helped make this all possible. Jess and Bill celebrated their marriage on the historic grounds of the Boal Mansion, located in the heart of Boalsbug, PA. They had the most picturesque June day with the clearest skies we had seen all summer. The couple exchanged personal vows under the most stunning maple tree, surrounded by all their closest family and friends.
The couple had one goal for their wedding day: that it felt like THEIR wedding day. And it was precisely that. The day was filled with the sweetest, personalized, and meaningful touches from start to finish. The bride's cousin hand-painted the most beautiful sketch of the mansion, which we were thrilled to include in their invitation design. We also incorporated it throughout the reception, from the signage to the table numbers and menu cards. Even the food was personal, a buffet of the couple's favorite foods prepared by Nittany Catering, cousins of the bride. This was a full-blown family affair! When the groom is in a band, you know you're in for a day filled with fantastic live music. Starting with the best man playing the bride and groom back down the aisle, all while walking back down himself! The entertainment didn't stop there; various artists played throughout the night, closing out with the groom himself. His father even joined him on stage for a few songs. What better crowd to perform for than your new bride and all your closest family and friends? Congratulations Jess + Bill! Thank you to the amazing vendor team that made this all possible! Rooted Farmstead, Nittany Catering, Cakeshop By Tati, J Stephens Salon, Kairos Creative Co., Best Event Rental, Country Creek Farmhouse Tables, Happy Valley Nomadic Spirits, Jessica and Kevin's day can only be described by one word: fun. The couple exchanged personal vows in front of 220 of their closest family and friends on the most perfect August day. Emily from Pocketful Of Poseys absolutely blew us away (as she always does) with the most stunning ceremony arch that was exploding with white roses and deep greenery, which was only made more spectacular by the best rolling mountain views in the area. When you have two PSU Alumni getting married, it only makes sense to have a Penn State legend officiate your wedding, right? We were so excited to work with Mike the Mailman!
The couple's style was clean and elegant, with classic pops of white roses and deep greenery everywhere. And we mean everywhere; greenery was draped from every corner of Rolling Rails. This venue was completely transformed from the doorways and mantle to even the ceiling! Of course, we can't forget to mention the 20' greenery wall. Keeping in the tone of Penn State traditions, the couple chose their favorite local band, Lowjack, who absolutely packed the dancefloor. A late-night buffet of pizza, chicken fingers, nachos, and wings helped guests refuel throughout the night to keep the party going. This group came to celebrate the love of Jessica and Kevin, and they did until the very last moment. Congratulations, Jessica & Kevin! As always, none of this would be possible without the help of our amazing team of vendors. Much like the butterfly, love changes as it grows to become more beautiful - Anonymous.
There's something about a first look that tugs at our heartstrings; for one, it's one of the only times throughout the day that the couple can truly be alone and reflect with one another. It also allows couples to spend more time together on their wedding day. Add a butterfly release to the mix, and Rebecca and Jon's first look tops the charts of one of our favorites to date. The couple celebrated their wedding day at one of our favorite venues, General Potter Farm. Guests were treated to a private creekside ceremony, bursting with laughter and warm September sunshine. It truly was a picturesque day. Rebecca and Jon chose to write their vows; it was impossible not to smile throughout the ceremony. It was plain to see that each guest could feel the love these two share. After the ceremony, guests were invited to the courtyard, where yard games and appetizers were waiting, setting the tone for a fun evening. Upstairs, the barn was bursting with pops of slate blue mixed with warm berry tones. Candlelight filled the reception space; the entire barn was glittering from the tables to the windowsills. The couple wanted to treat their guests to one of their favorite Penn State treats, Creamery Ice Cream. Classic Cone's vintage ice cream truck was the perfect setting for sunset pictures, allowing Rebecca and Jon's playfulness to shine through. After ice cream, guests were ready to pack the dance floor, singalongs, crowd surfing, and the Hora proved this group was ready to dance the night away. Congratulations, Rebecca and Jon! Vendor love! There's something about fall weddings that makes us feel warm and cozy, even if it's chilly and drizzling outside. This wedding did just that. A little rain was not going to dampen this day!
Mark and Davita celebrated their marriage on Mark's family farm, surrounded by apple orchards and rolling hills of fall foliage. Although we couldn't execute the apple orchard ceremony, they were still able to share private moments tucked along the trees. The view was to die for. Guests were treated to the full farm experience, including a tractor ride and personalized apples picked fresh from the farm, guiding each guest to their seats. Guests walked into a tent exploding with fall color and texture. Trees lined the tent, casting the most beautiful leaf pattern along the tent's top. Tables were filled with vintage candles in mixed hues of amber and burgundy. The floral centerpieces absolutely stole the show, created by the groom's Aunt. This day was truly a family affair, and every element was created with love. Mark and Davita wanted to create a truly authentic farm-to-table experience for their guests regarding the menu. Dinner consisted of produce sourced on the farm and all other ingredients sourced within a few miles of the farm itself. Trust us when we say the food was to die for. The bride's father took the stage with his band following dinner to kick off the dancing, followed by DJ Alex Nepa, who kept the dancefloor packed the entire night. Congratulations, Mark and Davita! Allison and Mike's wedding day was absolutely perfect. They are the most adorable couple, and the weather and setting were picture-perfect for their big day. Their wedding occurred on a private property tucked among the mountains in Boalsburg, PA. This property is incredible. Stunning views surround the entire property, all overlooking the perfect blue pond where the couple exchanged their vows.
We were so excited to work with a 'fall' color palette in the summer. Warm tones of copper and burnt orange, mixed with neutral shades of eucalyptus and stone, filled the property. The best part of the day was when Allison saw her bouquet and shouted, "You made my fall color palette make sense in the summer!" Allison and Mike chose a cocktail-style reception, hands down our favorite style of reception that allowed guests to have the freedom to socialize the entire night. Throughout the reception, guests were provided with over 20 small plate options, ensuring no guest was left hungry. The night ended with a packed dancefloor, stunning sunset, and a late-night cheesesteak cart! Congratulations, Allison and Mike! Thank you to our amazing vendor team! We don't often get a weekend off to plan and execute an event for ourselves. But we go all out when we do, especially for our sweet Harper girl. We had so much fun designing Harper's "First Trip Around The Sun" birthday party and spent the day surrounded by our closest family and friends.
Thank you, Best Event Rental, Avant Garden Floral, The Cookie Momster, and Jana Scott Photography, for helping us celebrate our little girl. Leah and Garret 2.0! We loved helping these two celebrate their love during the pandemic in a smaller, more intimate wedding, but we were so excited to help them throw the full-blown celebration they deserved! This second celebration was absolutely perfect and was such a relaxing day. The bridal party started the day creekside, laughing, playing guitar, and soaking in the time together surrounded by the beauty of Fern Hill.
Guests arrived to an outdoor cocktail hour equipped with a characterist, live music, and the tastiest bites. It was truly a celebration of being back together after a year of distance. Individually potted lavender plants guided each guest to their seats, potted by the bride and groom themselves. Guest tables were filled with flowers in shades of ivory and plum. Dozens of candles sent a shimmer throughout the pavilion that was truly magical. A second band provided live music that kept guests up and moving throughout the evening; you could hear the sounds of laughter echoing throughout the woods. Of course, no summer celebration is complete without a visit from the Classic Cones ice cream truck. Leah and Garret's day was so filled with love and laughter; after a year of distance due to the pandemic, you could feel the excitement felt by all to be celebrating together again. This baby shower was extra special for us as we got to celebrate Megan's very own sister Courtney! This twin shower was so fun to plan, and the final design was better than we could have ever imagined. Birch Hill Event Center was the perfect setting for this two-by-two safari-themed baby shower. Guest tables were filled with mismatched stone vases bursting with tropical greens and florals. Personalized monstera leaves and gold safari animals welcomed each guest to their seat. The best part of the day, the parents-to-be surprised their guests with a gender reveal for each twin! This day was filled with so much love and support for Courtney and Tommy, and we are so thankful we got to be a part of this day! Thank you vendors! Birch Hill Event Center, Best Event Rental, Avant Garden Floral, Sugared By Liv, Delectable Delights by Heather, Catering With Style By Dan Rallis, More Than Words By Michelle, and of course, the amazing Jana Scott Photography for capturing this special day for us! Ehrin and Bill's wedding day was absolutely stunning. The bridesmaids stole the show with rich textures and hues of copper accented by the most beautiful greenery bouquets. This bridal party was so much fun and was up for anything, including a fun photoshoot and a quick drink at the local bar. Ehrin and Bill exchanged vows in St. Michael’s Catholic Church; we are suckers for a bridal grand church entrance. These pictures still give us goosebumps as Bill spotted Ehrin walking down the aisle.
The reception took place on the Groom's family farm, where open fields provided the most amazing view of the surrounding mountains and all that our area has to offer. We were so fortunate for a picture-perfect day after a hurricane had moved through earlier in the week. Cocktail hour was nestled between the property's barns, where guests were treated to live music, drinks, and an abundance of hors d'oeuvres. The reception tent was overflowing with the most luscious floral and greenery arrangements. Tabletops were adorned with a mixture of tall cascading structures and low pieces that filled each tablescape to the brim. Three large greenery chandeliers hovered above the dancefloor, creating a dramatic focal point for a night full of dancing. A dramatic sunset took place just behind the band as they took the stage, pulling guests to the dance floor, where they danced the night away. Congratulations, Ehrin and Bill!
