Maria and Josh had a joyful celebration that was filled with smiles and happy tears on a bright, perfect Central Pennsylvania day. The couple was there to celebrate their love with family and friends, and they did not disappoint! The party started at the rehearsal and kept the momentum going. In a day filled with touching moments, the most breathtaking was the first look that wasn't: in an intimate, sweet gesture, Maria and Josh stood back-to-back on either side of French doors, clasping hands. Even through her tears, Maria's thousand-watt smile never faded. The bridesmaids in periwinkle and groomsmen in gray were a gorgeous contrast to Josh's dark blue tux and Maria's showstopping white gown and cathedral train. The bouquets were crafted of white flowers with blush accents and eye-catching anemone. The color scheme carried over to the reception with understated blues and gray, soft white and blush adorning the tables, with the addition of pops of gold. Of course there were nods to their connection to Penn State everywhere, from Maria's garter to blue and white pom poms on the dance floor to the Nittany Lion Inn venue itself. The bridal party entrance was a lip sync battle, setting the tone for the rest of the evening! The dance floor was packed and filled with laughter (and more than a few rousing Penn State chants). Thank you vendors! Best Event Rental, The Nittany Lion Inn, BMSHL Beauty, Avant Garden Floral, Andy Djandym Mastriania, The Arboretum at Penn State, Visual Rose Productions, and the amazing Leah Freidhoff Photography for capturing this day perfectly.
