brittany + nick

Brittany and Nick's wedding and ceremony was a beautiful mix of traditions and styles. A traditional ceremony was important to the bride and groom, as was a fantastic party!

Their ceremony was held at the Cathedral in Altoona, an absolutely breathtaking, Gothic sanctuary complete with vaulted ceilings, stained glass and visually stunning architecture.

Guests then moved to the Scotch Valley Country Club for dinner and dancing. In contrast to the quiet church, the country club was sun-soaked and bright, walls of windows allowing guests to enjoy the sunset. The ballroom - bearing the groom's family's name - was filled with pops of deep shades of berry and wine, with a head table backdrop of hoops covered in delicate greenery

The bridesmaids wore gowns in complementary jewel tones with the men in classic black tuxes. It seems that their choice of formal wear was appropriate for all activities: while we loved seeing them ride off across the golf course in golf carts, our favorite moment was the flash mob!
