Nick and Aly's wedding day was absolutely to die for; there's just something about a classic color palette that makes us swoon. Crisp tuxes, elegant gold dresses, and a stunning ballgown; what more could we ask for. Classic white roses and cascading greenery filled the day, giving off a simple yet elegant vibe. The love these two share for each other is one straight out of a fairytale, their energy was contagious throughout the day, and the smiles never left their faces. It was a picture-perfect day.
Penn State weddings are always fun; the energy of alumni coming back together is like nothing else, not to mention we love large bridal parties, especially when they're as fun as this group was. They did not shy away from a fun photoshoot when rain quickly moved in. An indoor ceremony filled with happy tears set the tone for the day as Nick and Aly exchanged vows in front of all their closest family and friends. The skies cleared just in time for cocktail hour on the terrace. Crisp white linens tied with soft greenery filled the terrace, tabletops were adorned with vintage gold goblets overflowing with florals. After cocktails, guests were moved to the event lawn, where a tent full of greenery awaited them. The statement piece was a thirty-two-foot-long king's table filled with greenery, florals, candles, and a stunning suspended arrangement that would perfectly frame the happy couple. After dinner, the party really began as fireworks drew the guests to the dance floor, where they stayed all night long. We mean it when we say this was the best dance floor of the year. The pandemic gave these two the gift of time; time together. Their careers often have them running in different directions and even in other cities for months at a time, so when the world shut down, these two saw the opportunity to celebrate their love. We met Whitney and Michael just five days before their wedding. What's amazing about planning a wedding on a short timeline is you focus on what really matters, the marriage.
Whitney and Michale's connection is so effortless and genuine; it becomes impossible not to feel their love when you are around them. Their day was filled with the most contagious smiles, even behind their masks. The main focus was the ceremony, which took place nestled under a tree that looked as if it was grown for just this purpose. The couple exchanged personal vows and lots of laughter in front of their parents and a few close friends, not to mention those attending virtually. The best part was that the sun began to set just in time to create the most breathtaking backdrop. The celebration continued with dinner under the trees surrounded by flowing strands of pictures of the couple made by the groom documenting their entire relationship. A macrame runner lined a slate topped table adorned with colorful flowers and terracotta place cards. A floral crown hugged their one-tiered cake, topped with a monogram of the couple's initials intertwined. And, yes, we now want a floral crown for every cake. The fun continued with a light-hearted cake smash and, of course, some pictures with the bride's Lexus, which has been with her since she was a child. Congratulations, Whitney & Michael! Vendor Love! It's not very often that we get to plan and throw celebrations for ourselves, let's be honest, we are always busy. We were so happy to slow down and celebrate our very own Megan and her little girl on the way!
This New Little Cutie shower was so much fun to help with, but all the credit goes to Megan's amazing Sister and Mom. With the help of some of our favorite vendors, the day was absolutely perfect. Personalized clementines greeted each guest at their seat, along with citrus table numbers. Vintage compotes were bursting with greenery and florals accented with tiny clementines. Our favorite part of the day, watching Megan and Alex try and guess baby food flavors. We can't wait for the newest member of the B Events team to join us any day now. Congratulations Alex + Megan! "If love is the treasure, laughter is the key." Victoria and Keith's wedding day was so much fun; there is no other way to describe it. The love these two share is so effortless; truly a match made in heaven. Their day was bursting with the biggest smiles and the most genuine laughs we've ever seen. Add an energetic bridal party to the mix, and it quickly became the best day ever.
2020 posed challenges for all of our couples, but these two took each moment with stride, not letting anything get in the way of their big day. The bridal party made masking fashionable with matching tones of mauve and navy. An open-air ceremony set the tone for the day, quaintly tucked in the croquet lawn. Our favorite part of Toftrees is always the bride's grand entrance; Victoria appeared as if she was floating on air as she made her way down the staircase. Lush mauve velvet linens filled the patio for cocktail hour with personalized marble tiles escorting guests to their seats under the reception tent. Warm neutral tones and textures made each guest table pop, the tent top filled with strands of greenery lights, and tables accented with soft accents of mauve and greenery. The statement piece, of course, was the 20' head table which was draped in velvet and overflowing with lush greens and candles that glittered throughout the evening. Once the party started, guests the packed dancefloor and celebrated until the late hours of the night. Congratulations, Victoria and Keith; we are so grateful to have been a part of your special day! Megan and Kevin's wedding was deeply personal; the couple wanted to celebrate their love where countless memories had already been made, their family cabin. The whole weekend was filled with celebrations; guests stayed in small cabins at a neighboring campground adding to the camp weekend fun.
Megan was absolutely stunning in a lace gown and tulle skirt, accented by a lush floral bouquet. Kevin wore a green suit and floral tie, which is one of our favorite looks to date. Of course, it wouldn't be a creekside wedding without feathers in the groom's boutonniere to reflect his passion for fly fishing. Their first look on the dock, followed by an intimate creekside ceremony, was absolutely picturesque. Rows of wooden benches filled the front lawn leading up to two perfectly placed trees that acted as a natural arch for one of the most stunning floral arches. The surprise of the ceremony was their family dog, who proudly flaunted her greenery crown as she made her way down the aisle. Guests enjoyed cocktails, food, and live music tucked under a lush canopy of trees filled with Edison lights. Individual herb jars, grown and dried by the Bride's Mother, guided each guest to their seats. The reception was overflowing with greenery; ferns, cattails, and eucalyptus played into the cabin's natural landscape. Tables overflowing with soft textiles and glittering candlelight filled the tent. The reception's focal point was a 4' greenery hoop, which stole the show and would later light up a packed dancefloor. After dinner, the band took the stage, and the woods filled with the sounds of their celebration. This wedding was by far the best dancefloor we had all year. The couple brought donuts and their favorite log cakes all the way from Philly for their guests, and they were a hit! The night ended with a cozy bonfire that allowed guests to continue to celebrate throughout the night. This wedding celebration in the woods was truly one to remember, congratulations Megan and Kevin! Vendor Love! We love what we do, but it's a whole other story when we get to do it for friends. So when Samantha and Evan asked us to help with their big day, we were honored and delighted. Not only do we consider these two friends, but they are one of our favorite vendor couples to work with.
If you've ever spent time with Samantha and Evan or even followed along with their social media, you know their energy and joy is infectious. Samantha has the best laugh and smile, hands down, which is evident throughout their entire wedding day. The love these two share is so fun, playful, and sincere, it's impossible not to be happier simply by being in their presence. Their day was spent surrounded by their closest family and friends in celebration at Samantha's family home. Their wedding invitations paid homage to the property with a stunning sketch done by the groom himself. The bridal party was so fun, the bride's side consisted of her brother's and sisters, and his closest friends surrounded the groom. We started the day with a first look with the bride's two brothers, followed by her father. We love all father-daughter first looks but man, this one really got us in the feels. It's impossible to look back through this moment without tearing up a little. Their reception overflowed with glittering candlelight and lush greenery. Guests were greeted at cocktail hour with a custom pasta bar, bistro lights, and a cozy lounge. Let's not forget the proper Italian cookie table, filled with a dozen boxed cookies for each guest made by the couple's family. After dinner, the dancefloor exploded with one of the best parties we've seen all year that continued into the late hours of the night. We are so honored to have been a part of your special day! Megan and Matt's dreamy, romantic wedding day began with a private exchange of vows, just between the two of them and their tiny dog, Sugar. The site of their marriage ceremony was tucked among ancient willow trees, which offered shade on a sunny day with bright blue skies. Live Bluegrass music created a joyful atmosphere, leading the bridal party down the aisle towards a touching ceremony. Following cocktail hour, guests were invited into the main tent where they were greeted by farm tables adorned with wrought iron, lush greenery, and seemingly endless candles. CROSS BACK farm chairs provided guest dinner seating. The focal point of the tent was the bridal party seating: a King's table set for 26, complete with personalized copper mugs and a 21" suspended centerpiece. After dining on a showstopper of a meal, guests alternated between enjoying an opulent dessert display and dancing the night away.

Leah and Garrett's creekside wedding was the perfect 2020 micro wedding. A small number of family and friends quarantined for weeks to celebrate their love, and it could not have been more perfect.
The day started with a picturesque creekside ceremony; both the bride and groom looked entirely at home in the forest. The couple wanted the ceremony to be intimate and personal, officiated by a close friend Leah and Garrett exchanged handwritten vows that reflected on the many years they've spent together and what all is to come. Cheers roared through the forest as the ceremony concluded, followed by a celebratory champagne toast. The couple fully embraced the day and did not hesitate to ditch their shoes and jump into the creek after exchanging their vows. The reception reflected the couple's natural laid back style. Farm tables were overflowing with gauze, candles, and mixed glass vases filled with delicate blooms. Soft grey linens with cascading arrangements atop of vintage milk glass compotes added texture and elegance. Each place setting was adorned with hand-dyed napkins, linen place cards, and a sprig of greenery—our favorite part, locally sourced hand sanitizer bottles, which complimented the design and served a purpose. Very 2020. Every part of Leah and Garrett's day was deeply personal, and the first dance was no exception. The bride and groom kicked off the reception with an acoustic performance by one of the groomsmen. Guests indulged in custom woodfired pizza creations and individually wrapped fruit tarts. The night concluded with a stunning sunset and a bonfire to cap off the perfect day. Congratulations, Leah and Garrett! Vendor Love! Guest tables were adorned with glass lanterns collected by the bride and groom during their trips to Germany. On Kim and David's wedding day, they were focused completely on the experience of being married in front of their close family and friends. Everything about it was deeply personal and filled with meaning.
The bride wanted bursts of color, and she achieved that look! Bridesmaids were lovely in rich shades of copper, navy, and teal. Bouquets and floral accents featured deep burgundy peonies, ranunculus, and pincushions. The groom (almost) stole the show: there's no more striking fashion statement than a man in dress blues! Their open-air ceremony was performed by a close friend, against a backdrop of a cloudy sky. Place cards were thoughtfully displayed in miniature glass vases with delicate ferns. The groom hand-crafted the table numbers, guest favors, and the groomsmen's cuff links. Guest tables were adorned with glass lanterns collected by the bride and groom during their trips to Germany. Alaina and Miles wanted a laid-back event that engaged their family and friends. They celebrated their wedding day in a natural setting that felt most comfortable: at home, surrounded by wildflowers.
Their union took place under a climbing greenery arch set against a backdrop of a stunning barn, but only after they took time alone for a private exchange of vows. They selected transportation that was as fun and unique as they are! An MG Midget served as both their getaway car and the entrance to their first dance. Afterwards, their wildflower theme carried over into a casual cocktail party, with touches of candlelight and vintage macrame. An evening of live music and hand-passed hors d'ouevres allowed them to relax and truly enjoy their guests. A final, magical touch: glass lanterns were suspended from an enormous tree, flickering like fireflies after the sun went down. Vendor Love!
