Sara and Josh’s love was felt in every moment as 400 family members and friends gathered to celebrate their connection. Their wedding day was nothing short of joyful and unforgettable.

Sara came to us with a beautifully unique idea for a unity ceremony, and Daniel Vaughn Designs brought it to life in the most meaningful way. As guests arrived for the ceremony, each was invited to select a flower to place in either the bride’s or groom’s arrangement, choosing a bloom that represented their personal connection to the couple. During the ceremony, the two separate arrangements were combined into one stunning piece, symbolizing the joining of their lives. The completed arrangement was later featured in front of the sweetheart table, making it one of the most unique and heartfelt unity ceremonies we’ve ever been part of.

The ceremony itself was breathtaking, set on the Arboretum’s Central Lawn on the most picturesque day. Towering floral urns overflowing with texture framed the space, while white market umbrellas shaded guests as Sara and Josh exchanged their vows.

Following the “I do’s,” guests joined the couple at the Penn Stater for an unforgettable reception. A show-stopping nine-tier wedding cake—standing over four feet tall and adorned with intricate hand piping and sugar flowers—stole the spotlight. Soft florals and glittering candles filled the ballroom with a warm glow, while guests enjoyed watching a live painter complete a stunning portrait of the couple’s ceremony throughout the evening.
A marquee wall featuring “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” kept the dance floor glowing as guests danced the night away, celebrating a truly magical day for Sara and Josh.
