Megan's wedding may be in Pennsylvania but the Bohemian feel of her brunch bridal shower was a nod to her California roots. The space was breezy and bright with touches of blush, rose, and buff. Texture was abundant: creamy velvet tablecloths with a kiss of gold, a whimsical, asymmetrical balloon arch housing the pops of color, sheer drape as a backdrop to the bride's seat of honor: a gold, geometric chair. The menu kept with the theme with fresh, clean flavors and edible flowers.

You know you're loved when a snowstorm hits during your bridal shower and the house is still packed. We love helping to design showers for our clients, but when that client is also one of our dearest friends we can't help ourselves.
With the help of Nicole's sister and Aunt we were able to pull off an amazing blush geometric bridal shower in the midst of a snow storm that otherwise brought Centre County to a standstill. copper geometric floral touches gave the tables a modern pop and a massive balloon arch with copper accents framed the room. A Moscow mule bar - complete with copper mug favors - kept guests warm inside. Local foods were provided by the bride's sister and aunt including beef from the family farm, a crudites display and homemade quiches and tarts. Guests were left satisfied and ready to celebrate. less than 50 days until this girl's big day and we can't wait to celebrate her all over again! Thank you vendors: best event rental, avant garden floral, wink!, and jana scott photography for spending the day with us! A special thank you to nicole's aunt sandy for being a gracious host, nicole's sister lauren for cooking some seriously amazing food and to nicole's bridal party, family and friends for spending the day with us! Throw the challenge of something different to a team of seasoned wedding pros and this is where they'll land.
We wanted to capture the dark beauty of a warehouse space, using industrial elements to add an edge to otherwise traditional components of a wedding reception: re-purposed metal drums for cocktail tables; soft fabrics and textures against aged cement floor and walls; a dining table with bold flowers and metallic elements, all bathed in natural light. The traditional ceremony arch was re-imagined as a custom art installation with over a thousand strands of yarn, adding a dreamy note to a bold backdrop. The moody style of the bride and her attendants was created by mixing grunge-inspired leather with opulent velvet and rich jewel tones. What better place than on the wedding day for a bride to imprint her personality! We are so proud and thankful to have collaborated with such an amazing team of talented local vendors. If You Give a Mouse a Cookie is a favorite children's book, lending itself to nostalgia-inspired decor and food and, of course, light-hearted fun. The venue was warm and comfortable, really, a space that felt like home. A colorful mimosa and juice bar provided celebratory drinks, both with and without champagne, to celebrate mom and baby. We also toasted with - you guessed it! - homemade cookies and milk in vintage glass bottles. We're excited to add another B baby to the family!
Thank you vendors! Best Event Rental, Duffy's Tavern, Delectable Delights by Heather, Avant Garden Floral and the amazing Samantha Malizia Films, Inc. Marisa and Tyler were up for anything, so their wedding style took guests on a gorgeous, surprising journey.
Attendants - both men and women - were subdued in shades of slate and navy, but the bridesmaids' bouquets offered a tease of apricot and magenta, a beautiful contrast to Marisa's flowers in shades of cream and white with touches of light blue and green. Cocktail hour design was soft and elegant, with neutral tones tucked in to complement the natural appeal of the space. As guests entered the pavilion at Fern Hill Weddings for dinner and dancing they were greeted by a live band and breathtaking decor. The effect was both dramatic and fun, the pavilion having been transformed by suspended greenery structures with brightly-colored hanging flowers and strings of Edison lights creating a romantic glow. Farm tables were covered with potted greenery and dozens of candles and Moroccan tiles served as place cards. The day was exciting and unique ... just like the bride and groom. thank you vendors! best event rental, fern hill weddings, vivace live, music mart, daniel vaughn, paul's provisions catering, j. rose bartending, dolce vita, for the win, beautiful dream team, nittany entertainment photo booths, fullington , barnes farmhouse tables and jana scott photography. ALEX AND ZACH’S WEDDING STYLE WAS ELEGANT AND CAREFULLY CRAFTED WITH LOVE. MOTHER NATURE TOYED WITH THE IDEA OF BEING UNCOOPERATIVE BUT THE SKIES CLEARED IN TIME FOR THEIR OPEN-AIR CEREMONY UNDER AN ANCIENT OAK TREE.
BRIDESMAIDS AND GROOMSMEN WERE UNDERSTATED AND SOPHISTICATED IN PETAL PINK AND COBALT BLUE; ALEX PERSONIFIED CLASSIC GLAM IN HER TIMELESS SHEATH GOWN. BOUQUETS WERE COMPOSED OF STRIKING PINK PEONIES TUCKED AMONG BLUSH ROSES AND EUCALYPTUS. GOLD ACCENTS AND COMPLEMENTARY FLORALS, KISSED WITH JUST ENOUGH SPARKLE, FILLED THE BALLROOM. THE CRYSTAL CHANDELIER AND BACKDROP OF MARQUEE LIGHTS COMPLETED THE PICTURE. ONCE GUESTS HIT THE DANCE FLOOR THE LIVE BAND MADE SURE THE PARTY NEVER STOPPED! THANK YOU VENDORS! Brittany and Keith march to their own beat, their love and respect for each other shining through every move they make together. Their wedding day was a beautiful blend of tradition and their exquisite, unique personalities. Despite the weather's temperamental attitude, the skies cleared at mid-day and gave the bride and groom the gorgeous, sunny day they deserved.
Brittany was elegant in a beaded lace gown and cathedral-length veil. Her look was poised and effortless: she looked absolutely stunning. The bridal party was fun and easygoing, a reflection of the bride and groom. Bridesmaids wore forest green and carried florals in shades of deep berry, burgundy, and eggplant; groomsmen looked sharp in gray Gingham check jackets. A personal and touching ceremony began with a processional through the apple orchard, leading to a site in the middle of a clearing. The altar was composed of a natural archway adorned with a macrame and lush flowers, set against bright blue skies. As will happen, their sweet kids stole the show, the boys in suspenders and bow ties and the flower girl carrying a gold hoop adorned with fresh flowers and greenery, a flower crown on her head to match. Clean lines and simplicity were key for dinner and dancing: contemporary bud vases and iron floral stands decorated each table; place settings of rose gold and embossed glass china completed the picture. The sunset photos may be the most beautiful we've ever seen. Congratulations to our dear friends, Brittany and Keith! Once the knot was tied, they wanted exactly two things from their wedding reception: a splashy party unlike anyone has ever seen, and to spend it with their family and friends. It would seem that their wish was granted. The colors were bold and exciting: the bridesmaids wore burgundy and the maid of honor added a bit of sparkle with gold sequin. The bride's bouquet was composed of berry-hued proteas and roses in complementary shades, with white anemone and thistle offering a touch of deep blue. Guests were greeted by an enormous tent on the family's sprawling lawn. Multicolored, hand-lettered subway tiles served as escort cards, guiding the way to their seats.. Tabletops looked elegant and soft with just the right amount of warm shine: place settings were accented with blush colored goblets and rose gold flatware. Alternating high and low centerpieces matched the bridesmaids bouquets and were flanked by navy and gold candles. When the time came to cut the cake, there was no missing it: a towering, multi-tiered confection with sugar flowers and ribbon, seemingly out of a storybook. Everyone - including the couple's children - enjoyed the party, taking full advantage of the dance floor. In a word, the day was unforgettable.

Brittany and Nick's wedding and ceremony was a beautiful mix of traditions and styles. A traditional ceremony was important to the bride and groom, as was a fantastic party!
Their ceremony was held at the Cathedral in Altoona, an absolutely breathtaking, Gothic sanctuary complete with vaulted ceilings, stained glass and visually stunning architecture. Guests then moved to the Scotch Valley Country Club for dinner and dancing. In contrast to the quiet church, the country club was sun-soaked and bright, walls of windows allowing guests to enjoy the sunset. The ballroom - bearing the groom's family's name - was filled with pops of deep shades of berry and wine, with a head table backdrop of hoops covered in delicate greenery The bridesmaids wore gowns in complementary jewel tones with the men in classic black tuxes. It seems that their choice of formal wear was appropriate for all activities: while we loved seeing them ride off across the golf course in golf carts, our favorite moment was the flash mob! Penn State and Downtown State College played a large part of Jeff and Katie's love story so it was natural that they would do their first look at an iconic location: the steps of Old Main, on the Penn State campus. Katie wore a classic, showstopping lace gown and bridesmaids wore petal pink, offering a striking contrast to another nod to their Penn State pride: the men's navy suits and socks.
Pale peach cabbage roses and lush greenery filled the ballroom. Floral hoops suspended from the ceiling and greenery draped from every ledge provided a soft, dreamy backdrop. How can we forget Barkley? Jeff and Katie are a gorgeous couple in so many ways but their sweet, photogenic bulldog stole the show. He knew that his job as ring bearer was an important one and he handled it like a pro. Furbabies in weddings can be a dangerous gamble but Barkley could teach a class in how to behave ... and he has a killer smile. Thank you vendors!
