Amy and Bob exchanged vows in a traditional Catholic ceremony, held in a spectacular Gothic-style church. Once the knot was tied, they wanted exactly two things from their wedding reception: a splashy party unlike anyone has ever seen, and to spend it with their family and friends. It would seem that their wish was granted. The colors were bold and exciting: the bridesmaids wore burgundy and the maid of honor added a bit of sparkle with gold sequin. The bride's bouquet was composed of berry-hued proteas and roses in complementary shades, with white anemone and thistle offering a touch of deep blue. Guests were greeted by an enormous tent on the family's sprawling lawn. Multicolored, hand-lettered subway tiles served as escort cards, guiding the way to their seats.. Tabletops looked elegant and soft with just the right amount of warm shine: place settings were accented with blush colored goblets and rose gold flatware. Alternating high and low centerpieces matched the bridesmaids bouquets and were flanked by navy and gold candles. When the time came to cut the cake, there was no missing it: a towering, multi-tiered confection with sugar flowers and ribbon, seemingly out of a storybook. Everyone - including the couple's children - enjoyed the party, taking full advantage of the dance floor. In a word, the day was unforgettable.
